Ms. Jessie Adams-Weinert, Lead Teacher/Executive Director
Jessie was raised with one foot in Southwest England and the other in Arizona. She spent most years outside with her dogs and at the ice rink practicing for competitions and coaching young skaters. After high school, she received a BA in Family Studies and Human Development while tour guiding in southeast Alaska. After college she made the move to Haines permanently and acquired an MA in Early Childhood Education. She loves teaching yoga and mindfulness in the classroom and hopes to encourage all she meets to become their best self. She has a young baby named Astrid and 2 dogs named Freya and Gustave!

Ms Raquel Leal
Raquel is originally from Chicago, IL and studied at Western Illinois University where she got her Batchlor's Degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration. She lived in Haines in 2019 and worked for a guiding company called AMG. She loves going for hikes, rafting, and doing arts and crafts! Before heading back to Haines she worked for a wilderness therapy company in Georgia helping at-risk teens for about 2 years. Raquel is passionate about teaching the preschoolers how to enjoy nature, getting crafty, and talking about their feelings. Please feel free to ask her about her favorite cat named Sebastian who she recently adopted from HARK!

Ms Gely Diaz
Ms Gely is originally from Guatemala. She lives with her three children in Mosquito Lake and loves to teach Spanish to the preschoolers! She also has a puppy named Dingo.
